Love Shakespeare? So do we! We’re celebrating Shakespeare’s legacy and the 400th year since his death with two different productions at our Fraser Valley and Okanagan wineries this summer.
At our Naramata Bench winery next month, July 22-23, the Penticton Chamber Theatre will perform “A Toast to Shakespeare”, with a series of famous select scenes from the Bard’s comedies, tragedies, romance and history along with music and poetry performances. Tickets are $10 per person and available at the winery.
At our south Langley winery, Bard in the Valley is offering a humourous take about married life in the Taming of the Shrew. The play is classic Shakespeare with disguises, deception, courtship, marriage and plenty of slapstick humour along the way. The performances are July 8-9, 10 (matinee), and 15 -16, for only $20 per person plus taxes. Tickets are available at our Langley winery, please call 604-532-1766 or email wine@township7.com.
