    You'll tell two friends

The prevalence of social media is an undeniable aspect of modern life. Facebook, Twitter, and related sites are accessible almost anywhere thanks to smartphone apps and tablet computers. Word-of-mouth advertising is more important than ever before, and the new social media bring with them unique ways to attract consumers’ attention to a product. The sheer volume of data exchanged, however, means that there’s a real danger of information overload. This interactive Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival symposium will discuss ways to survive – and even thrive – in the age of social media.

Grab a glass of bubble and join our winemaker Bradley Cooper, along with Anthony Gismondi, Rick Bakas, other winery principals, and marketing and social media gurus as they delve into the future of wine marketing. Afterwards, join the panelists and your peers over a glass of wine at the post symposium reception.  Contact the Playhouse Box Office 604-873-3311 for tickets.

    Time: 1:30 to 5 pm
    Cost: $55
