Gewürztraminer 2014

  • 92 points & Editor’s Choice – Paul Gregutt, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, May 2016: “Here is a splendid example of this variety, intensely spicy, with the characteristic scents and flavors of rose petals, lychee fruit and baby powder. It shows tremendous depth and precision, and could be cellared through 2020, but why wait?”
  • 4 stars & 90 points – Daenna Van Mulligen, Vines Magazine, Spring 2016 & winescores.ca: “Tangy, floral, fresh. From Township 7’s Naramata Estate Vineyard this tangy Gewurztraminer offers citrus oil, honey, yellow apples, pears, spice and orange blossom notes. The palate is very fresh, the acidity bright. It has a slightly oily or soapy texture balanced with a mouthwatering finish.”

Merlot 2013

Muscat 2015

  • Best Single White Varietal “Other”B.C. Best of Varietals Wine Awards 2016
  • 91 points – John Schreiner, May 26, 2016: “This wine begins with an appealing floral and spicy aroma, leading to flavours of herbs and a hint of ginger. The palate is light and the finish is dry. This is a delicate wine to be enjoyed just for the purity of its fruit flavours and aromas.”
  • 90 points – Rick VanSickle, May 3, 2016: “Lovely, stylistic nose of ripe tropical fruits, citrus rind and spice. It’s dry on the palate with stone fruits in a fresh, lively, crisp style with spicy undertones on the finish.”

NBO 2013

  • 90 points – Daenna Van Mulligen, winescores.ca, May 10, 2016: Savoury, toasted, textural. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the North Bench Oliver, NBO was aged 24 months in American oak. The aromas on this blend are savoury to say the least – toasted spices, smoked meat, saddle leather and tobacco atop wild briary berries and cocoa. While there is an attractive juiciness, the acidity here (along with oak) dominates. The tannins are textural the fruit restrained and the flavours lean toward tealeaf, cocoa and wild berries. Decant and let breathe.”

Reserve 7 2013

  • 90 points – Paul Gregutt, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, May 2016: “This Bordeaux-style blend comprises 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and a smattering of three other grapes. There’s an herbal frame around dark cassis fruit and a powdery mouthfeel from stiff, dry tannins. The accents of char, graphite and smoke are well integrated.”

Sauvignon Blanc 2015

  • 93 points & Best in ClassLos Angeles International Wine Competition 2016
  • Gold, All Canadian Wine Championships 2016
  • 90 points – Julianna Hayes, Okanagan Sunday, April 24, 2016: “Smell & Taste: Gooseberry, green apple, passion fruit, lemon-lime, grapefruit, herbal. Feel: Mouthfilling, fresh and racy. Eat: Summer salads, halibut. Good to know: 10% barrel fermented. Winery Location: Naramata.”
  • 90 points – John Schreiner, May 26, 2016: “This zesty wine begins with aromas of herbs and lime, leading to flavours of lime and lemon. There is good weight on the palate and the wine has a crisp, clean finish.”

7 Blanc 2015

  • 90 points – John Schreiner, May 26, 2016: “This is a blend of 40% Pinot Gris, 50% Gewürztraminer and 10% Riesling. The 14 grams of residual sugar here pop the flavours of peach, guava and citrus; but the acidity is bright enough to keep the finish fresh. The winery calls this an ice cream sundae but I think you will enjoy this even if you don’t have a sweet tooth.”

Seven Stars Sparkling 2012

  • 4 STARS & 90 points – Daenna Van Mulligen, Vines Magazine, Spring 2016 & winescores.ca: “Township 7 fans are undoubtedly delighted to see its bubbly program return. This traditional method fizz is specifically made for wine club members. It’s a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Langley (Fraser Valley) and Naramata (Okanagan Valley) estate vineyards and offers crunchy red apples, citrus, wildflowers and smoke with vague toast and nutty undertones. It is racy with a bold citrus palate rounded out with honey. Fine bubbles enhance this pleasing and studious offering.”

We’ve also been honoured to receive outstanding reviews from many other great palates, who do not use the 100 point rating scale. A shout out to wine critics:  Darren Oleksyn with the Calgary Herald, Julianna Hayes with Okanagan Sunday, James Nevison with the Province newspaper, Kurtis Kolt with the Georgia Straight, Michaela Morris with the WestEnder, and Eric Degerman with Great Northwest Wine Magazine. Cheers!
