White wines of character, grace and passion.
Our minimally intrusive winemaking techniques create balanced, naturally complex, flavourful wines. All our white grapes are hand-harvested at optimum ripeness, placed in small bins, and then gently crushed, destemmed and pressed. We ensure cold fermentation for retaining the clean, delicate fruity aromas and flavours, with some in small vats for the unoaked wine and others in specially selected French and American oak barrels. Our oaked Chardonnays undergo malolatcic fermentation for that smooth, rich mouthfeel. Select white wines are then barrel aged up to 11 months. Careful racking and organic fining is done prior to bottling.
7 Blanc 2009
We love creating this blend that represents the uniqueness of the Naramata Bench terroir. The wine’s grapes are grown on our own property in the rolling hills east of Penticton. Off dry and exotic with tangerine citrus notes, pear and lychee in the nose. The taste is of pears, peach, mandarin orange, hints of walnut and some tropical spice. The finish lingers with yellow raisin and fig. Enjoy with sushi, Indian or Thai dishes, and mild, creamy cheeses.
