Sauvingon Blanc 2009
Tasting Notes:
Few wines capture a region’s characteristics like Sauvingon Blanc. This is a true Okanagan style. The nose erupts with kiwi, strawberry and honeydew. The palate is fruit salad, a hint of sweet Chilliwack corn and caramel with a guest appearance of beurre noisette. Full and lush, drink chilled and in the accompaniment of all things summer.
Vintage Report
A challenging winter reduced the crop, but the remaining fruit excelled during the long, dry growing season. September’s picture perfect weather with 20 days of 20° Celsius temperatures propelled our Sauvignon harvest to the last week of the month, resulting in full, round clusters of rich fruit.

2009 Sauvignon Blanc
Daenna Van Mulligen | "Wine Diva", Wine Scores, October 18th, 2010
This concentrated Sauvignon Blanc is more reminiscent of a Californian version rather than those from New Zealand. It presents lovely stone fruits, melon and floral notes with a seam of citrus. The palate is ripe and quite creamy with nice minerality, sweet ripe fruit and citrus. The finish is mouth-watering and carries flavours of licorice and citrus peel.

Sauvignon Blanc 2009
James Suckling | Former senior editor Wine Spectator, February 27, 2011
This is fascinating with a super minerally, white pepper character on the nose and palate. Medium bodied, with bright acidity. Very intense. Really original. A Canadian “Silex”. Baby Sancerre.
