We’re honoured to receive 7 Golds at this year’s Wine Align National Wine Awards! Earlier this summer over 225 wineries submitted over 1900 wines to compete at the 2023 Wine Align National Wine Awards of Canada hosted in Penticton, B.C. Township 7 is proud to be awarded 12 Medals (7 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze) at the competition. Congratulations to our winemaker & assistant winemaker, Mary and Devon.
Our seven Golds include:
seven stars 2015 Sirius “A complex bubbly, layered- with soft red fruit and some toastiness. Persistent and long…”
seven stars 2019 Aurora “Inviting notes of brioche and pear tart feature on the nose, underscored by subtle white floral and red berry nuances. The palate is nicely balanced, with fresh acidity and vigorous bubbles to counter the broad, weighty structure…”
seven stars 2019 Polaris “Open and airy aromatics, up there in the stratosphere, marine salty, linear and rising. Intense nose and then also palate with taut citrus behaviour…”
Benchmark Series 2019 Riesling “Vivid aromas of lemon zest, sweet lemon curd, and white blossoms give this Riesling immediate appeal on the nose. The palate is racy and richly textured, with a hint of well integrated residual sugar…”
Benchmark Series 2019 NBO “Cassis to the max with ripe plums and lovely green lifts; this blend really sings. It’s young and tight but so well made and brimming with swagger and confidence…”
Benchmark Series 2019 Reserve 7 “Bold red fruit aromatics, juicy and generous ripe style and then taut, firm finish…”
Benchmark Series 2019 Syrah “Full on ripe, spicy, black and blue fruit. Broad and full palate, high alcohol, ambitious and big, long finish…”
