We are thrilled to welcome a new member to our team, Devon Villard, who joins us as the Tasting Room Manager in our Naramata Bench winery. Originally from Ontario cottage country, Devon joins Township 7 from the Vancouver Film School, where as the Resources Manager he helped coordinate everything needed to support their 80-90 productions every 2 months. His wine journey began however many years ago, after a mountain bike accident. Needing to find a slower paced passion, after several wine tasting trips his interest in wine outpaced his passion for film.
He finished his WSET Advanced, started a wine club, a wine blog, and is a member of the Wine Century Club with currently 169 different grape varieties tasted. He is a huge advocate for BC wine pitching it everywhere he goes from Rioja to Willamette. To stay engaged in his wine journey while at VFS he worked part-time at a BC VQA store in Vancouver. It was after taking this job he knew working in wine was not work to him and his passion will always bubble out of him like a good Cava. He welcomes you to stop by our Okanagan winery and share a glass / bottle of wine and swap stories on our new Naramata Tasting Room patio!
