Founded in 2000, Township 7 has two BC wineries, one situated in the scenic Fraser Valley and the other on the picturesque Naramata Bench in Canada’s premier wine region, the Okanagan Valley.

Our Metro Vancouver winery is located in the beautiful south Langley countryside in a quaint building reminiscent of the many riding stables in the neighbourhood. Named after this historic community of south Langley, its original name in the late 1800s was “Township 7”- the cottage on our property is an original building from the 1930s.

Similar terroir to Champagne, France enables us to produce outstanding method traditionelle sparkling wine and dry, Provence style Rosé wines from our Langley vineyards. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines at our south Langley 5 acre property were planted in the spring of 2000 and the winery opened for business in July of 2001. Our Langley winery offers a convenient “Wine Country experience” without leaving the city.

In the fall of 2003, a second vineyard property was purchased on the Naramata Bench. Our Okanagan wine shop is surrounded by 7 acres of vines on the picturesque Naramata Bench with views of both Lake Okanagan and Skaha Lake. The majority of our wines are crafted here, offering visitors the opportunity to see the workings of the winery first hand.

Two acres of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Gewürztraminer vines were planted on our Okanagan property in the spring of 2004, and additional Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot vines planted in 2005. The combined Naramata winery and tasting room was completed and opened in the summer of 2004.

Enjoy our self guided tours and wine tastings daily. We offer cultural and culinary experiences including art shows, live music / theatre, charity fundraisers, wine seminars, community grape harvest / stomp, and winemaker dinners. Check out our events here.
