Our team picked Chardonnay from the Hidden Terrace Vineyard yesterday for our Seven Stars sparkling wine. Our earliest harvest ever on record, Hidden Terrace is a new highly acclaimed grower for us. Situated near McIntyre Bluff, with a gentle eastern slope and plentiful morning sun, the property has ideal sandy soil for providing excellent drainage. Located on a plateau 330 feet above the Okanagan River near Vaseaux Lake in the south Okanagan, the vineyard is ideal for producing crisp, fresh aromatic fruit. The grapes will now undergo the traditional méthode champenoise process for the next few years before release and then bring on the sabering!
